Cookies with a Prayer

COOKIES WITH A PRAYER, now in its 8th year, is an all volunteer program operated by the Catholic Detention Ministry. Gift bags containing cookies, coffee, candy, cocoa ,Christmas cards and pens are assembled and distributed to the 250 men and women in the Napa County Jail and the youths in Juvenile Hall. For many this is the only Christmas remembrance they receive.

The  cookies are donated by ButterCream Bakery and the bags decorated by the students at St. John the Baptist School .This year the bags will be assembled and delivered on Thursday Dec. 13.

We are in great need of CHRISTMAS CARDS AND ENVELOPES. for the inmates to send out. We also need CASH DONATIONS  to pay for the contents of the gift bags.
